caller stated to be Mark Anderson from electric company "on way to my house to cut off electricity". He continued to ask for a payment to avoid power shut off. I was the one to mention name of company. He than continued to say that policy had changed at district office and messages for shut off were no longer left. I informed of a previous payment in Feb. and the amount. He proceeded to say he would call me back because he had just received the call from the company for shut off and it had to be done within an hour. I proceeded to call electrical company, confirmed last payment and next payment due in April. I spoke to an employee at my electrical company and made aware of incident. The employee informed me that it must have been a prank.
